How Vsimer handles your personal data. What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and your rights. Written in plain language.
This privacy policy explains what personal data Vsimer collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have tried to write this in plain language rather than legalese. If anything is unclear, contact us and we will explain it.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. This is the minimum we need to identify you and deliver your eSIM.
Payment data. We use Stripe to process payments. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We receive a record of the transaction amount, currency, and status, but not your full card number.
Order history. We keep records of your purchases so you can view past orders, download QR codes again, and contact support about specific transactions.
Device information. When you visit our website, standard web server logs capture your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This is standard for virtually every website on the internet.
eSIM usage. We receive basic usage data from our carrier partners, such as data consumed and plan status. This lets us show you remaining data in your account dashboard. We do not monitor, log, or store your browsing history, app usage, or any content you access through your eSIM connection.
To deliver the product you purchased. To process your payment. To provide customer support when you need it. To improve our service based on aggregate usage patterns. That is the complete list. We do not sell your data to advertisers. We do not build profiles for targeted marketing. We do not share your information with third parties except as necessary to deliver the service.
Account data: as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period after deletion to handle any outstanding issues. Transaction records: as required by financial regulations, typically 7 years. Server logs: 90 days, then deleted automatically.
