Open Settings
Go to Settings on your iPhone
Tap Cellular
Or Mobile Data depending on your region
Tap Add eSIM
Select "Add eSIM" or "Add Cellular Plan"
Use QR Code
Tap "Use QR Code" and scan with your camera
Confirm plan
Label it (e.g. "Travel") and tap Done
Enable data roaming
Settings > Cellular > your eSIM > Data Roaming ON
Tip: You can also scan the QR code directly with your phone camera. It will prompt you to add the eSIM plan.
Important:Make sure Data Roaming is turned ON for your eSIM. Without it, your plan won't connect abroad.
Check if your phone supports eSIM. Your device must be carrier-unlocked.
Your phone must be carrier-unlocked to use eSIM. If your device isn't listed, check your phone settings: Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM. If the option exists, your phone supports eSIM.
