Vsimer Now Covers 200+ Countries: What's New
Vsimer has crossed the 200-country mark for eSIM coverage, which puts it among the broadest-reach eSIM providers available. The expansion adds coverage in parts of Africa, the Pacific, and Central Asia that were previously missing or had limited options.
What's new
The most significant additions are across Sub-Saharan Africa, where eSIM adoption has been slower to take off but demand from business travellers and NGO workers has been growing. Countries like Tanzania, Rwanda, Ghana, and Senegal now have dedicated plans rather than being grouped under expensive generic Africa plans.
Central Asia - Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan - has also been added. These destinations have become increasingly popular with overlanders and adventure travellers who previously had to hunt down local SIMs (often with confusing registration requirements).
Pacific island coverage has expanded too. Papua New Guinea, Fiji, and several smaller Pacific territories now have plans, which matters for anyone doing a Pacific island itinerary or working in the region.
Updated plans in existing markets
Several existing markets have seen plan updates alongside the expansion. Europe plans now include more data options at lower price points. The Southeast Asia regional plan has been updated to include the Philippines more reliably. Japan plans have been updated to reflect current Docomo network pricing.

What hasn't changed
The core experience is the same: buy a plan, get a QR code by email, scan it, connect. The installation process is identical regardless of destination. Coverage quality does vary by country - some of the newer additions use roaming agreements that may not match the speed of established markets like Japan or Germany, but for the destinations added, it beats having no eSIM option at all.
